For the past 13 years, Our exhibition has been a meeting point in Chennai for a broad community of photographers and media professionals from the region and beyond. Our festival’s programme of exhibitions and Artist Talks aims to introduce a range of contemporary practitioners with different approaches to the craft, creating room for discussion and dialogue amongst people. It also includes activities aimed at professional development such as artist talks, discussion sessions, and free portfolio reviews.
Call for submission
We are happy to invite you to submit your work to CWC 10. Please read through the guidelines before you submit your work.
Submission Guidelines:
1. This submission is open for both CWC members and Non CWC members
2. If you are a CWC member, you can submit your work in the following categories:
- Debut category – This is for new CWC members exhibiting for the first time. A minimum of 5 attended photo walks is required to submit work. Submit a total of 5 images, with 3 selected for exhibition.
- Group project – For existing CWC members. Submit collaborative work (based on a theme) as a group with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 members.
- Solo project – Submit an individual project based on a theme.
3. If you are a Non-CWC member, you can submit your work in the following categories:
- Open Category – You are required to submit a total of 5 images, out of which 1 would be Selected & Exhibited.
- Solo Category – Submit an individual project based on a theme.
4. Group & Solo Category participants can design the layout and theme for their exhibited photos in allocated spaces, while providing a narrative that showcases their innovative approach.
5. Showcase and Debut category participants will have their work exhibited by CWC.
6. Share your work as a link stored on platforms/apps such as Flickr, Facebook, 500px, Dropbox, or Google Drive.
7. The submitted work should be the sole creation of the participant
8. Do not submit work that is heavily manipulated or altered using digital applications.

1. Think of a theme
2. Define a hashtag (must be unique and please we don’t need ur names in it )
3. Post a photo daily under the theme
4. Please ensure that each post has the same aspect ratio. When your images are printed together, their sizes can have an impact on the display.

6. No other rules so play with it !!!
7. Posting dates: February 15 – March 15, 2024. No need to be CWC member. You may be from any part of the world. No restrictions on nationality.
